Oxygen in this plant is used for enhancing combustion in the furnace where leaden waste is recycled.
The local team has welcomed the new technology with an excitement. They have made a very good effort during installation.
The total production capacity of this plant is 480kg/h at 93% oxygen, the system automatically adjusts to changing demand and reduces the oxygen costs considerably.
Oxygen production plant is partly replacing the LOX deliveries, cryogenic storage tanks will be now used mainly as a back up and to cover the peaks.
The technology is well protected from outside environment and it produces oxygen also during the problematic typhoon season, when the trucks are unable to deliver the liquid oxygen to the site due to flooding.
